1. Product Overview: Carbon monoxide compressor is a special process equipment specially used for compressing carbon monoxide (co) gas. Because the affinity between carbon monoxide and hemoglobin is about 250 times higher than that of oxygen, people can die at very low concentration, so the design, material selection and manufacture of this kind of compressor follow extremely strict safety specifications.
2, performance characteristics:
High priority: Leak-proof sealing technology In view of the toxicity of carbon monoxide, leakage prevention is the primary goal of all designs. High-end models adopt pressure-sealed crankcase, which can prevent gas from leaking into the atmosphere even when yu is a small molecular weight gas. Liquid ring compressor adopts liquid lubricated mechanical shaft seal, and can be equipped with double-end seal structure to improve safety level. Reciprocating compressor can be equipped with patented sealing technology such as inverted packing sealing device.
Strict material selection carbon monoxide may react with metals under certain conditions (such as forming carbonyl compounds with iron, nickel, etc.), so the parts in contact with the medium need to be made of suitable corrosion-resistant materials. The liquid ring compressor is made of high-quality corrosion-resistant materials and can tolerate reactive carbon monoxide gas.
Temperature rise control and temperature perception of carbon monoxide during isothermal compression need to be strictly controlled. Liquid ring compressor has almost isothermal compression characteristics, which can greatly reduce the risk of overheating. All models strictly control the exhaust temperature through interstage cooling and other measures to prevent side effects or safety risks caused by high temperature.
3. Scope of application:
Metallurgical and reducing gas application: In metallurgical industry, carbon monoxide can be used as reducing gas for the reduction of metal oxides (such as direct reduction of iron). The compressor is used to pressurize these reducing gases and then enter the reduction furnace.
Pressurization and pressure stabilization in process flow: In various chemical process flows, the compressor can be used for boosting, pressure stabilization, power supply and purging of the system to ensure the pressure stability of the process system and meet the production requirements.
Scientific research and special application: in scientific research institutions, university laboratories, medicine, food and other industries, small carbon monoxide compressors are used to provide stable pressure carbon monoxide gas sources for experimental systems or specific processes. For example, it provides a stable power source for a specific process or experimental research unit in the food industry.
