1. Product Overview: The vinyl chloride compressor is a special process equipment specially used for compressing and transporting vinyl chloride (vcm) gas. Vinyl chloride is the core monomer for producing polyvinyl chloride (pvc) in polymer chemical industry, but it has some dangerous characteristics such as carcinogenicity, easy polymerization (self-polymerization in the presence of catalyst at high temperature) and flammability. Therefore, this kind of compressor is required to be designed with absolutely no leakage, strictly controlled temperature rise, and the parts in contact with the medium have high corrosion resistance and polymerization resistance.
2, performance characteristics:
Anti-polymerization: strictly control the temperature rise in the compression process (usually the exhaust temperature is ≤90℃ through multistage compression and interstage cooling), and use corrosion-resistant materials to reduce the generation of rust (polymerization catalyst) and prevent vinyl chloride from self-polymerizing and blocking the flow passage.
Strict material selection The parts in contact with vinyl chloride must have good corrosion resistance and non-catalysis. For example, the main components such as cylinder, piston and impeller are usually made of stainless steel (such as 304 and 316); The screw rotor is made of special Cr-Mn alloy, and stainless steel support frame and special bearing are used. Copper, mercury and other materials that are easy to react with gas are strictly prohibited. Sealing materials must be compatible with vinyl chloride, and swelling resistant materials such as ptfe and graphite are usually selected.
Oil-free/clean lubrication technology In order to prevent the risk of pollution and polymerization caused by the mixing of lubricating oil and vinyl chloride, the cylinder and packing parts are usually designed with oil-free lubrication (piston type), or lubricated with special process compressor oil and strictly isolated from gas (screw type). Diaphragm compressor completely separates gas from lubricating parts through metal diaphragm to prevent lubricating oil pollution, which can achieve 8000 hours of annual operation and ensure high purity of gas.
3. Scope of application:
Loading, unloading and tank dumping of tank trucks: used for loading, unloading and tank dumping of liquid vinyl chloride in railway or highway tank trucks.
Recovery of residual gas and liquid: the residual gas in the process system and the residual liquid at the bottom of the storage tank are recovered.
Large-scale chemical complex: In a large-scale (for example, with an annual output of more than 200,000 tons) vinyl chloride/polyvinyl chloride complex, the centrifugal vinyl chloride compressor is the key dynamic equipment, which is used for large-flow and stable transportation of cracking gas and circulating gas.
