Butadiene compressor

1. Product Overview: Butadiene compressor is the core dynamic equipment in petrochemical, synthetic rubber and resin (such as abs and s bs) production devices, which is specially used for pressurizing, conveying and circulating gas-phase butadiene. Its main function is to extract low-pressure butadiene gas from the upstream rectification or reaction system, compress it to the pressure required by the process (usually several bars to dozens of bars), and transport it to the downstream reaction or storage unit.

Extreme security design:

Leakage prevention: series dry gas seal or high-performance mechanical seal system is adopted, and leakage monitoring and emission collection facilities are equipped to ensure zero escape of flammable and explosive media.

Anti-aggregation: This is the top priority of design. All parts (cylinder block, piston, blade, rotor and flow passage) in contact with the medium should avoid dead angles, adopt mirror-like finish, and select special stainless steel materials (such as 304ss and 316ss) to prevent the catalytic polymerization of rust. The lubricating oil system must be completely isolated from the process gas.

Strict process matching:

The inlet needs fine treatment: the gas before compression must be deeply dried and filtered to remove trace moisture, oxygen and impurities that may cause polymerization.

Injection of polymerization inhibitor: Usually, polymerization inhibitor such as tbc (tert-butylcatechol) is continuously injected into the compressor inlet as a chemical "insurance".

Inert gas protection: nitrogen should be used to completely replace the air in the system before starting.

3. Application scope: Butadiene compressor is almost exclusively used in petrochemical downstream industries with butadiene as raw material or intermediate: synthetic rubber industry, synthetic resin industry, rectification and recovery system. Butadiene compressor is a technology-intensive and safety-oriented key node in chemical plant. The selection, procurement, operation and maintenance of the plant need the close cooperation of equipment manufacturers, process designers and users, and a deep understanding of the chemical characteristics of butadiene, so as to ensure the long-term, safe and stable operation of the plant.
