1. Product Overview: Propylene compressor is a key power equipment specially used for conveying and compressing propylene (C₃H₆) gas. Propylene is an extremely important basic raw material in petrochemical industry, which usually exists in production equipment in gas or liquid phase. Because of its low boiling point (-47.7℃), it is a gas at normal temperature and pressure, so it is necessary to increase its pressure in many chemical processes (such as polymerization, separation and circulation) to meet the requirements of reaction, fractionation or transportation. High safety and tightness:

Leak-proof design: propylene is a flammable and explosive gas (explosion limit is 2.0%-11.1%), and it is heavier than air and easy to accumulate. Therefore, the compressor must adopt an extremely reliable shaft seal system (such as dry gas seal, labyrinth seal, etc.) to ensure that no flammable gas leaks.

Explosion-proof electricity: all supporting motors, instruments and control equipment must meet the corresponding explosion-proof grade.

Compatibility of materials: The materials of components in contact with propylene should be compatible to prevent chemical reaction or corrosion.

High efficiency and high reliability:

As the core energy-consuming equipment of the plant, its pneumatic design and hydraulic design pursue high efficiency to reduce operating costs.

Rotor, bearing and other core components have precise design and high manufacturing requirements, and need to have the reliability of long-term (usually requiring continuous operation for more than 3-4 years) stable operation.
