What is a multistage process compressor?

Multi-stage process compressor adopts two or more cylinders in series to compress in stages, which reduces the single-stage compression ratio in stages, giving consideration to high-pressure output and low-temperature compression. It is specially used for pressurizing chemical polymerizable media and medium-high pressure special gases, and is the core piston equipment of fine chemical industry.

Core special requirements include:

Step-by-step temperature control compression: after each step of compression, a cooler is set independently, which greatly reduces the exhaust temperature and avoids high-temperature polymerization and coking of butadiene, propylene oxide and other media;

Wide pressure range: the output of the second-class machine is 1.6~4MPa, and the output of the third-class machine can reach 10~80MPa, covering all kinds of process requirements of medium and high pressure;

Corrosion-resistant materials are optional: stainless steel and Monel alloy can be customized for parts in contact with media, which are suitable for acidic and corrosive chemical gases;

Classified independent safety protection: each stage of cylinder is equipped with safety valve and pressure gauge separately, and single-stage fault is independently relieved, which does not affect the safety of the whole machine;

Flexible flow adjustment: it can be matched with variable frequency motor and clearance adjustment mechanism to adjust the exhaust volume stably in the load range of 30%~100%.

Summary: It has strong medium adaptability and comprehensive pressure coverage, and is a special model for fine chemical industry under special working conditions.
