What is a piston compressor?

Piston compressor, also known as reciprocating compressor, is one of the oldest and most widely used compressor types. Its core principle is to change the cylinder volume periodically through the reciprocating linear motion of the piston in the cylinder, so as to realize the suction, compression and discharge of gas. It is suitable for medium and small flow and high pressure occasions.

Compared with other models, the piston compressor has a complete industrial chain, is good at ultra-high pressure, has the highest thermal efficiency under design conditions, has simple and effective partial load adjustment, and has mature technology.
