What is a hydrogen compressor?

Hydrogen compressor is a machine used to compress hydrogen. Because hydrogen has the characteristics of low density and low volume energy density, it is necessary to pressurize hydrogen first in order to increase the hydrogen load per unit volume container in storage, transportation and application.

The working principle of reciprocating hydrogen compressor is that the motor drives the crankshaft to rotate, and the crankshaft drives the piston to reciprocate in the cylinder through the connecting rod. When the piston returns, there is negative pressure in the cylinder, the intake valve is opened and the exhaust valve is closed, and hydrogen is sucked into the cylinder to complete inhalation; When the piston pushes, it compresses hydrogen to increase its pressure. When it reaches the exhaust pressure, the exhaust valve opens and the intake valve closes, and the compressed hydrogen is discharged from the exhaust port to complete the exhaust. The piston reciprocates continuously to realize the continuous compression and transportation of hydrogen.
