What are the common faults of natural gas compressor?

Natural gas compressor plays a vital role in many aspects such as natural gas exploitation, transportation and processing. It can increase the pressure of natural gas and ensure its smooth transportation. However, in the actual operation process, natural gas compressors often have some faults, which affect their normal work.

1. Common faults:Insufficient air volume: The blockage of the air inlet filter is one of the common causes of insufficient air volume. With the increase of service time, the filter will absorb a lot of dust and impurities, which will hinder the gas from entering the compressor.

2. Excessive exhaust temperature: The failure of cooling system is the main reason for excessive exhaust temperature. If the cooling fan fails to operate normally, it will not be able to effectively dissipate heat, resulting in an increase in exhaust temperature.

3. Abnormal vibration and noise: Loose anchor bolts of natural gas compressor will cause vibration of the whole machine. In the long-term operation process, due to vibration and other reasons, the anchor bolts may gradually loosen, making the stability of natural gas compressor worse.
